This is becoming too redundant...another quiet but busy week. More work for me, but this weekend is marking the end of the holiday rush for me-only two more projects...thank goodness!
Daddy was gone this weekend on the first annual Buurstra men (plus in-law Aaron) get-away. We missed him terribly but had fun here too. The kids were both angels all weekend which was such a blessing. It's so much easier being the only parent when they are both good. When they're being naughty it's so nice to have the reinforcement of the other parent.
Daddy comes home midday tomorrow and we can't wait!

Week of 11/8 - 11/14
Another quiet but busy week. Lots of work for Mommy and no playdates...when will it end??!!
11/1 - 11/7
This week was both quiet and busy. We didn't have any playdates except for small group coming over Friday, and I had to work alot. Boo.
Week of 10/25 - 10/31
The week of Halloween was somewhat quiet. Grayson was treated to a morning of cookie making and general mischief at the Macaulay's! Susan loves to spoil him and sent him home with all kinds of goodies! She even took him to Robinette's. He came home chattering a mile a minute about all he had done. And consumed-lots of sugar!
We carved pumpkins; Grayson wanted a truck (of course) and Daddy happily obliged. We also had a couple standard faces.
Grayson had been looking forward to Halloween since we bought his costume at a garage sale earlier in the summer. He'd been practicing his 'rawr' often and was ready to go for the weekend.
Saturday night we went to the Cascade Fire Department's Halloween Party. They gave out a goody bag, ate donuts and cider, and looked at the fire truck parked outside. We even ran into Ryan, Evan, and Brady.
Sunday afternoon we really celebrated Halloween by having a party. Buppa, Dat, Aunt Emily + Uncle Aaron, and the Snyder's joined us for soup and trick or treating. Grayson and Kellan absolutely loved it. Grayson RAN from house to house and Kellan wouldn't let go of her bucket for anything!

Week of 10/18 - 10/24
We had a BUSY week! I had to work ALOT, but we did sneak in ABC Moms, a playdate with Mason + Norah, and then headed up to Walloon Lake to spend the weekend with Nana + Papa.
We had such a fun and relaxing time! The time always flies by but we managed to enjoy the short time we had together. The kids both warmed right up to Nana and Papa, and liked getting stuffed dogs-perfect for our family!

Week of 10/11 - 10/17
This week we had a playdate with Rex + Sylvia at their house. Grayson loves to play at Rex's house-he has so many fun cars and trucks!
We also had soccer again...but again, Grayson wasn't really that interested. And since it's getting colder and darker it's more and more difficult to get him to want to go. Thankfully we only have a couple more weeks!

Week of 10/4 - 10/10
I had to work alot this week but we did have a playdate with Mason and Norah. We also went downtown to Artprize on a beautiful Friday morning.
On Saturday Daddy went to the Michigan/Michigan State game so we went to the Graham's to hang out with Jen, Lily, and meet baby Claire. We had pizza and played and headed home at bedtime.
Sunday was work for me and then dinner at Buppa and Dat's.
